Cityscape is a relaxed-fit, drop shoulder top that easily walks the line from dressy to casual. Inspired by panoramic views of the Calgary skyline, this top uses dropped stitch patterns to create skyscraper detailing.
Cityscape offers practice in increasing and decreasing, yarn overs, faux side seams, worked as you go Icord edging, and Icord bind off. Shoulder decreases are accomplished through a fun combination of shoulder top shaping and saddle shoulder structure. This top is a great skill building project for confident beginners, and the detailing will keep more experienced knitters engaged.
