Soleil Capelet Pattern

Soleil is mid-sized capelet fitting close at the neck and flowing to the mid upper arm. Exposed garter stitch edges lend a rustic feel and the worsted weight yarn offers an earthy warmth.

Soleil is worked using a series of garter stitch short row segments, and is excellent practice for anyone wanting to experiment with short row shaping.  This pattern also offers practice in yarn over eyelet detailing.
